Microscopy and Pathology Core

We deliver end-to-end imaging and histology support. Capabilities include confocal/MP, fluorescence, and AFM imaging, complemented with a full pathology suite. We assist with design, training, and analysis to generate high-quality project data.

Systems Physiology & Phenotyping Core

The Center performs procedures and quantifies cardiac function for the investigators in the Center, as well as others on campus. Our expertise and suite of instruments enables robust educational opportunities for trainees and faculty.

Metabolic Profiling Core

Spanning from the molecule to cell to the intact animal, this Core addresses metabolic needs by offering an integrated approach. This includes: Sciex 5500 Agilent Seahorse XFe96 Metabolic/Behavioral Phenotyping System Various Exercise Systems

Integrated Omics Core

The Core provides end-to-end support for omics-based research by connecting study design, sequencing strategy, bioinformatics analysis, and biological interpretation within one coordinated framework.

Exposures and Toxicology Core

This collection of services includes a Versatile Aerosol Concentration Enrichment System (VACES) to expose mice to concentrated ambient particles (CAPs). There are also a host of related biometric systems, including DEXAScan, radiotelemetry, and others.
